Ascend to legendary heights for unparalleled panoramic views and a journey through history at the Empire State Building.
The Empire State Building is more than just a skyscraper; it's a timeless symbol of New York City and an architectural marvel. From its grand Art Deco lobby to the breathtaking panoramic views from its observation decks, visitors embark on a journey through history and innovation. Explore fascinating exhibits detailing its construction and cultural impact before stepping out to witness the unparalleled beauty of the Manhattan skyline, Central Park, and the Statue of Liberty.
The Empire State Building is one of New York City's most iconic skyscrapers. A high-speed elevator ride to the observation deck offers breathtaking panoramic views of Manhattan, with Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge visible in the distance. The view is particularly stunning around sunset, when the city lights gradually illuminate the cityscape, creating a rich and layered spectacle. The building's interior retains its classic Art Deco style, exuding historical charm. Although crowded, the event is well-organized, making it an excellent spot to experience the allure of New York City and capture panoramic views.
I really enjoyed visiting the Empire State Building, especially after also experiencing Edge. Both attractions are absolutely worth doing, but they offer very different experiences. The Empire State Building feels more classic, historic, and iconic. From the moment you enter, the exhibits and overall design remind you that you are visiting one of the most famous landmarks in New York City. The views from the observation deck are beautiful, and there is something special about seeing the city from such a legendary building. Edge, on the other hand, feels more modern and dramatic. The glass walls, open-air design, and glass floor create a very different kind of excitement. It feels newer, more futuristic, and a little more adventurous, especially if you enjoy unique photo opportunities. I would not say one replaces the other. The Empire State Building gives you history, tradition, and that classic New York feeling. Edge gives you a sleek, modern skyline experience with a more thrilling atmosphere. Both are well organized, both offer amazing views, and both are memorable in their own way. If you have time, I honestly recommend doing both. They complement each other well and show different sides of New York City.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a great time visiting the Empire State Building with my family of 8. Even with a big group, the experience was very smooth and well organized. The staff were helpful, and there was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy the exhibits and take photos together. The views from the top during the middle of the day were amazing — you can see so much of the city clearly, and it was such a fun moment sharing that with my whole family. One of my favorite parts was the strawberry chocolate cups they had at the very top. It was a nice treat while we were taking in the views, and everyone in our group really enjoyed it. The entire visit felt memorable, from walking through the displays to finally stepping out onto the observation deck. This is definitely a must-visit if you're in New York, whether you're going as a couple or with a large family like ours. We made great memories together, took lots of pictures, and I would absolutely visit again.
Our visit to the Empire State Building was a truly fabulous experience that completely lived up to expectations. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. We especially loved walking through the museum exhibits on the way up—it was fascinating, beautifully presented, and added so much context and history to the visit. It really builds the anticipation before you reach the top. The views from the observation deck are simply breathtaking, with stunning panoramic scenes of the city skyline that make you stop and take it all in. Seeing New York from above gives you a whole new appreciation for its scale and energy. An absolute must-do experience and one of the highlights of our trip.
Absolutely loved visiting Empire State Building again. It’s one of those classic New York experiences that simply never disappoints. The views over Manhattan are breathtaking both during the day and at night, and the whole atmosphere feels iconic from the moment you enter the building. Even after seeing other observatories in the city, this one still has something special and authentic. A must-do in NYC and always worth recommending to anyone visiting for the first time — or even the fifth.
What an incredible experience to visit this iconic building. It was so much more than an observation deck. The area at the bottom of the building gave a famous glimpse into the way it was constructed and our 2 girls (3 & 8) found this all fascinating and interactive. The floors below the observation deck up at the top were great for more history and fun. It's a must do sight in NYC! Go as early as possible to avoid the queues, we got there as it opened and barely queued for anything. 🙌
Visited the Empire State Building and the experience was truly unforgettable. The views of New York City from the top are absolutely stunning, especially at night. The overall setup is well-organized, but it can get quite crowded. Ticket prices feel a bit high, especially for the higher floors. Still, it’s an iconic place and definitely worth visiting at least once.
One of New York City’s most iconic landmarks and absolutely worth the visit. The view from the top is breathtaking — you get a full panoramic of Manhattan, especially stunning during sunset or at night when the city lights come alive. The organization is excellent, with a smooth flow and minimal hassle despite the crowds. Everything feels well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, making the whole experience very enjoyable. It may be a classic tourist attraction, but it fully lives up to the hype. A must-visit when you’re in NYC.
Views from the top of the world :) It held the title of the "World's Tallest Building" for 40 years, from its completion in 1931 until the North Tower of the World Trade Center was finished in 1970. Construction took only one year and 45 days, at the peak of construction the framework rose at a rate of 4.5 floors per week. Fun (and scary) fact: in 1945, a B-25 Mitchell bomber flying in thick fog accidentally crashed into the 79th floor of the building. Despite the massive impact and a fire, the building’s structural integrity remained intact. It opened for business on the other floors just two days later.
Probably one of the most iconic building when you think of New York. Definitely a must come visit! The lower levels are the musuem and the 80th floor is an indoor observatory. The 86th floor is iconic outdoor observatory. Consider getting the tickets via an official online site such as City pass. I got mine with them for the 5 attractions pass and it grants day entry and bonus same night entry for free.
Visit early in the morning or later in the evening to experience fewer crowds and enjoy breathtaking sunset or night views.
Don't rush through the lower-level museum exhibits; they offer fascinating insights into the building's history and construction.
Consider purchasing tickets online in advance to save time and ensure your preferred entry slot, especially during peak seasons.
Explore both the 86th-floor outdoor observation deck for classic photos and the 102nd-floor for an even higher, enclosed perspective.
Allow ample time for your visit, typically 2-3 hours, to fully enjoy the exhibits, views, and gift shop.
Combine your visit with other nearby attractions to make the most of your New York City experience.
